How Long Should a Massage Session Be?

Session length affects what a massage can actually achieve. Here’s a simple breakdown to help you choose.

30 Minutes

Enough time to focus on one or two areas – typically back, neck, and shoulders. Good for a quick reset during a busy day, but not enough time for a full-body treatment.

60 Minutes

The most common choice, and for good reason. A full 60 minutes allows your therapist to properly address the entire body – back, legs, arms, neck, and shoulders – without rushing any area.

90 Minutes

Best for guests dealing with significant tension, or those who simply want a slower, more thorough experience. The extra time allows for more focus on problem areas without cutting other parts of the body short.

Our Recommendation

If it’s your first visit, start with 60 minutes. It’s long enough to feel the full benefit without being overwhelming, and gives your therapist enough time to understand what pressure and technique work best for you going forward.
