Everything first-time visitors need to know — what to wear, when to arrive, tipping customs in the UAE, and how to get the most from your session.
Before You Arrive
First-time spa visits can feel unfamiliar. This guide answers the questions guests ask most — so you can relax the moment you walk in.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing to your appointment. You will be provided with fresh towels and linens. No need to bring anything special.
Arrive 10–15 minutes early for your first visit. This allows time for a brief pre-session consultation with your therapist.
Avoid a heavy meal at least 1 hour before your session. Stay hydrated — drinking water before and after massage improves results.
We recommend silencing your phone before entering the treatment room. This keeps the environment calm for all guests.
A quick shower before your session is appreciated but not required. We use fresh linens and sterilized equipment for every guest, every time.
Please inform your therapist of any injuries, medical conditions, or sensitive areas before the session begins. This helps us personalize your treatment safely.
During Your Session
Your comfort and safety come first. Here is how to get the most from your time with us.
Therapist communication tip: The most common feedback we hear is "I wish I had said something sooner." If anything during your session feels uncomfortable — pressure, temperature, or technique — please tell your therapist immediately. There is no awkwardness in asking for adjustments. That is exactly what they are there for.
Your Visit — Step by Step
Here is the typical experience for a new guest at Ragini Spa — from arrival to checkout.
Our front desk team will greet you, confirm your booking or take your walk-in details. No appointment needed — we are open 24/7, every day of the year.
Your assigned therapist will ask about areas of concern, preferred pressure, and any health conditions. This takes about 3–5 minutes and shapes your entire session.
You will be shown to a sanitized, private room. Fresh linens, premium massage oils, and clean towels are prepared and ready for you.
Relax and let your certified therapist do the work. Sessions start from AED 99 with no hidden charges — the price you see is the price you pay.
Take a moment to rest after your session. Payment is settled at reception — cash and card accepted. You are always welcome to rebook before you leave.
UAE Customs
Tipping is not mandatory in the UAE, but it is a widely appreciated gesture in personal wellness services like massage therapy.
Is tipping expected at a spa in Ajman?
No, tipping is entirely voluntary. Ragini Spa therapists are paid a professional wage. However, a tip of AED 10–30 is a common and appreciated gesture if you feel your therapist went above and beyond.
How much should I tip for a massage in the UAE?
For a 60-minute session, most guests who choose to tip offer between AED 10 and AED 50. There is no set expectation — any amount is graciously received, and no tip is equally fine.
Can I give the tip directly to my therapist?
Yes. You can hand the tip directly to your therapist at the end of the session. Cash tips are the most common method. If paying by card, ask our front desk to add a tip to your bill.
Common Questions
Quick answers to what first-time visitors ask most before booking.
Do I need to book in advance, or can I walk in?
Both are welcome. Ragini Spa is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, and walk-ins are always accepted. Booking via WhatsApp ensures your preferred therapist and time slot are reserved.
Is Ragini Spa a male-only facility?
Yes. Ragini Spa is a licensed, certified male-only spa registered with the Ajman Department of Economic Development (License No. 131399). All staff are trained professionals.
What should I do if I am not happy with my session?
Tell your therapist immediately during the session — they will adjust. If the concern remains, speak to our front desk. Guest satisfaction is our first priority and we will make it right.
Are there any health conditions that prevent getting a massage?
Certain conditions — including fever, open wounds, recent surgery, or certain cardiovascular conditions — may mean you should postpone. Always disclose your health history during the pre-session consultation. When in doubt, consult your doctor first.
What is the cancellation policy at Ragini Spa?
For walk-in sessions, no cancellation is needed. For advance bookings, please inform us at least 30 minutes prior if your plans change. This allows us to offer your slot to another guest.
