What Should You Wear for a Massage?

This is one of the most common – and most avoided – questions first-time guests have. Here’s a straightforward answer.

Before Your Session

Wear whatever is comfortable to arrive in. Loose clothing is easiest, but it doesn’t matter much since you’ll change before the session.

During the Session

You’ll typically undress to your comfort level – most guests remove outer clothing but keep undergarments on. There’s no requirement to remove more than you’re comfortable with; the massage can be adapted either way.

Privacy and Draping

You’ll be covered with a sheet or towel throughout the session, with only the area being worked on uncovered at any time. This is standard practice and ensures your privacy and comfort from start to finish.

What If You'd Rather Stay Fully Clothed?

That’s completely fine too. Let your therapist know at the start – many massage techniques, including some relaxation and Thai-style sessions, can be performed with light clothing on.

The Bottom Line

There’s no single “correct” answer — what matters is your comfort. A good therapist will always check in and adjust based on what works for you.
